Peach and Pit App LLC is responsible for your personal information (the "controller").

• From you, when you create an account, write entries, upload photos, follow people, comment, send feedback or file a report.
• Automatically, when you use the app: usage, device and technical information, and your location if you've allowed it.
• From Google, if you sign in with Google: your name and email address.
• From the App Store and Google Play, when you buy Premium: what you bought and when.
• From other users, when they follow you, mention you, invite you to a group or report your account or content.

4 How We Use It, and Our Legal Basis

We use your information only for the purposes below. If you're in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, the law requires us to name the legal basis for each one.

5 Who We Share It With

Other Peach and Pit users. Your username, name, profile and cover photos, bio and follower counts are visible to other users. Your journal entries, photos, likes and comments are visible according to the privacy settings you choose for your account and for each entry. Members of groups you join can see your activity in that group. If you've shared your location, people using the Nearby feature can find your profile.

Service providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

Apple and Google Play process your payments under their own privacy policies. We receive only what's listed in section 2.

Legal and safety. We share information when the law requires it, or when it's necessary to protect someone's safety or our users' rights.

Business changes. If Peach and Pit App LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of it. This policy will continue to apply to it.

6 Location

Precise location is sensitive data. We collect it only with your explicit consent through your device's permission prompt (we request while-in-use access only, not always-on), and only while you're using the app. We use it for one thing: showing you people nearby and letting them find you. We save your most recent location on your profile so the Nearby feature works.

To stop sharing your location, turn off location access for Peach and Pit in your device settings. We'll stop collecting new locations straight away. Your last saved location stays on your profile until you delete your account.

7 Advertising, Analytics and Tracking

Ads. We show ads through Google AdMob, including the optional ads you can watch to support us. Google collects device information and how you interact with ads in order to show, limit and measure them. Your journal entries are never shared with advertisers.

Your advertising identifier. On iPhone, we don't access your device's advertising identifier unless you allow it through Apple's tracking prompt. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings under Ads.

If you're in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before we or Google use your information for personalized ads or analytics. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Manage privacy choices.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features people use and where the app breaks. It is linked to a random account ID, not your name or email address.

Ad sharing. When we show ads through Google AdMob, Google may use your advertising ID and device information to personalize ads and measure their performance. This constitutes sharing your data with a third party for advertising purposes under some state laws. We don't sell your data, but you have the right to opt out of personalized ads. Opting out in the US: turn off tracking on iPhone (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) or delete your advertising ID on Android (Settings → Google → Ads). You can also email support@peachandpit.com and we'll honor your request. Your journal entries are never shared with Google for advertising.

8 Where Your Data Is Stored

Peach and Pit App LLC is based in the United States. Your information is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States, so if you use the app from another country, your information is transferred there.

For transfers from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on our providers' certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions), and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where a provider isn't certified. Email us for a copy of the safeguards that apply.

9 How Long We Keep It, and Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Profile Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, journal entries, photos, comments, likes, followers, group memberships, feedback and saved location. If you signed in with Google, it also disconnects Peach and Pit from your Google account. Your data is removed from our systems within 30 days.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Premium subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

We keep moderation reports after an account is deleted so that deleting an account can't erase a record of harassment or threats, and so we can respond to legal requests. We may also keep specific information longer if the law requires it.

10 Your Rights and Choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it in a portable format.
• Correct it. You can edit most of your profile yourself in the app.
• Delete it. You can delete your account yourself in Settings → Profile Settings → Delete Account.
• Restrict or object to how we use it, including where we rely on our legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent where we rely on it. Location and notifications: your device settings. Ads and analytics: Settings → Manage privacy choices. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew.

For anything you can't do in the app, email support@peachandpit.com from the address on your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we'll respond within one month (or the time your local law allows).

If you're in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, these are legal rights, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.

11 Children

You must be at least 13 to use Peach and Pit. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up. If you're under 13, we don't create an account, and any sign-in started with Google is removed. We keep your date of birth on your profile to confirm you meet the age requirement.

If we learn that someone under 13 has an account, we'll delete it. If you believe a child under 13 is using Peach and Pit, email support@peachandpit.com.

12 Security

Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest on Google Cloud. Access to it is limited to the people who run Peach and Pit, and we use app-integrity checks to block tampered copies of the app. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

13 Payments

All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your card details. We receive only what you bought, the price and the date, so we can unlock Premium.

14 Third-Party Links and Services

The app may link to other websites and services, such as sharing to Instagram. Signing in with Google is covered by Google's privacy policy. We're not responsible for how other companies handle your information, so check their policies too.

15 Changes to This Policy

When we update this policy, we'll change the effective date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.

Peach and Pit is a mobile app, so it doesn't receive web browsers' "Do Not Track" signals. Use the device settings described in sections 6 and 7 instead.

16 U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.

California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents may request to know what personal information we collect, disclose, or sell; request deletion; correct inaccurate information; and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell personal information. We do share advertising identifiers with Google AdMob for personalized ads — you can opt out using the device settings described in section 7. To exercise any right, email support@peachandpit.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Utah (UCPA). Utah residents may request access to, deletion of, and a portable copy of their personal data, and may opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising. To exercise any right, email support@peachandpit.com.

We'll respond to verified requests within 45 days (California) or 45 days with a possible 45-day extension (Utah). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
